I want to explain why trucks are important because trucks can carry a heavy thing like rocks.

The main reason is fire engine.  The fire engine is a vehicle used for fighting fires.

Sometimes fire engine rescue people or pets if they are stuck in a tree or somewhere.

Another reason is trucks can carry a T.V. to other places.

Every Monday at Ruapotaka School every class goes to assembly.  In the assembly the    principal talks a little bit about what is going to happen.  When the classes arrive we sing the National anthem.  When we sing it, it makes New  Zealanders proud. The principal gives us books and notes.  We have a special assembly with a special visitor.

One thing I noticed this week was I am getting better at skipping. I can skip longer and faster. I can do the criss-cross and I can also jump in the long ropes.

I was better by following instructions and directions. I’m very good at skipping. I like skipping.

9.5.14  One  thing I  noticed  this  week .   One thing I noticed this week is we work best when it is   quiet.  People want quiet but other people do not want quiet.  People like to read books when it’s quiet and other kids like to play loud games.  They don’t play games when it is time to learn.

Dear Nana                                          

Today at school we talked about a saying. The saying was “saying someone is ugly doesn’t make you any prettier”. I think this saying means when that when you’re saying something mean to another person might be hurting their feelings but it’s just reflecting the kind of person you really are. When you say that you’re trying to make them jealous and jealousy is not good.
