2019 will be a new and exciting year for Room 10. This is a class of diverse cultures, mixed gender, and mixed ability students. As a class we have all decided We all want to be Better Than Before. Better in the way we work. Better in the work we produce. Better in the way we think, talk and act. Better than the day before. Together we can do this! With support from each other, encouragement and praise, this will be a successful year.

Matt and Andy's show
Monday 18 MAY
Hi this is Peni and I love leopards. I love leopards because they are pretty fast.
I loved the show because when worm was going to ask Simon but Simon told him to shush because he was on the phone. Then he had to go on his date and his date was my little brother,s teacher Mrs Pederson. They made a very special soup for her and before they gave it to her Simon tested it.When he finished testing it he gave some to Mrs Pederson and she put her finger into the the box pot and put it in her mouth and sucked it.
Then there was a part when there was a man and his name was Matt and he calls the city STINKY BAG CITY and he has a partner named Stinky.

ANZAC guest speaker
Wednesday April 22 we had a guest speaker from the Maungarei Cadets Unit. Lance Corporal Aperahama came to tell us his participation at an ANZAC day parade.
As part of our "learning to correctly format a letter of thanks" in written language the students published letters to send to Lance Corporal Aperahama. These are some of the letters the students created.
