Learning - Our Story

Over this term room 9 students have been looking at ways learning helps to make us better.  The movie was shot on location (Ruapotaka School).  As a class we helped to develop the Manaiakalani Film Festival display at the cinema.  Below has the movie we created with the beginning showing the whole class presenting the introduction we would use on the movie launch day.  Enjoy

Magic Maddy

Last week we had our school speeches.  Madisyn, Agueer, Faye, and Jacob represented our class.  All credit to them for the work they put into doing this.
Madisyn was the overall winner with Faye taking third place.  Below is the speech for you to view.

Orienteering by Tane

On Tuesday 1st of August   2017 a man  from  orienteering gave us some tips for  when we do the orienteering I don,t now when it is but it sounds really cool to me and my friends too.

These are photos of of room 9 practising our routine. The two students from room nine who
created the routine was Limiteti and I. It was a lot
of work teaching the rest of room 9 the routine
but it was mostly the boys. The first step in the routine was skip and kick three times. After practising for about two days they finally got it.
The next step was to choose if you want to do
double dutch our just normal skipping with the big ropes. When we presented our routine it felt
really cool.
