Welcome to our class movie. This is about wanting to be a champion and what it takes to get there.
2019 will be a new and exciting year for Room 10. This is a class of diverse cultures, mixed gender, and mixed ability students. As a class we have all decided We all want to be Better Than Before. Better in the way we work. Better in the work we produce. Better in the way we think, talk and act. Better than the day before. Together we can do this! With support from each other, encouragement and praise, this will be a successful year.

ReplyDeleteThank you Deavay for your comment. What a great idea to make another movie with a different challenge.
DeleteI really like this!I try to do that once but I suck at it.But now you guys show me to never give up!
ReplyDeleteKia ora Fe'ao we practiced and practiced to get as good as we were. Our teacher is not so fast but she doesn't give up.
DeleteKia ora Room 9, The story you created for your movie was very inspiring. Combining your ideas about trying your best and never giving up, with the cup stacking competition, was a great idea. Also enjoyed the music, were you the instrumentalists?
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
Mrs Grant
Talofa lava Mrs Grant, thank you for commenting on our movie. Yes we were the instrumentalists and Madisyn composed the music for the beginning and end. Madisyn and Kate played the ukulele. Alamoni learned the instrumental riff from The eye of the tiger and played this.
DeleteWow there is no way I could do that as fast as you. I can see that the way to get better is to practice heaps. Thanks for sharing how to be a champion. Keep trying you'll get there.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dave Winter for the encouragement. We got the idea from our syndicate assembly challenge. Our class challenge the senior school to a cup stacking competition. We thought it would be a good way to show what we went through before the actual competition.
DeleteWell done room 9, a lot of practice must have gone into stacking and unstacking all those cups!
ReplyDeleteHi Ms G, thank you for the positive comment. We had lots of time to practice during our wet lunch activities.
DeleteKia ora room 9. I had a great time filming this movie and I had an awesome time being a coach in the movie. My favourite part in the film was when it was time for the cup stacking finals. We all did a great job filming the movie.
ReplyDeleteFrom one of your room 9 students, Limiteti
You were a great coach and so was Nurul. Thank you Limiteti for your comment. You are the kind of person who never gives up on anyone.

ReplyDeleteWow what a perfect comment Sunipa. We liked your movie as well. It is a great message because when you keep trying it makes your family really proud and happy.
DeleteTalofa lava Room 9
ReplyDeleteI really liked your movie on how to be a champion it shows a lot of commitment that's the key to being a champion. I know a lot of people who started of with poverty then focused on being a famous basketball player and achieved it. Who is the champions at every subject in your school?
Aloha Huntah, your comment was very specific and together we achieve much (TEAM), so beginning a champion means having other champions to focus on. The smartest person in all subjects at our school would be a girl in our Year 8 class.
DeleteHello room 9 and Ms Riley, great job on your movie. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteNeeti
Tena koe Neeti, I would like to start by saying your picture is so cute. Is that your dog? Thank you so much for viewing our movie. We learned so much while making our movie. It was inspiring as well as fun.
DeleteWow Room 9, cupping looks like fun, loved your movie
ReplyDeleteHello Ms Brough, we would love to teach you how to be a cup stacking champ. We have the cups and the room whenever you have the time.
DeleteHi rm 9,

Hi Shayna, the girl in the movie was Kate and she is very fast. There are three people in our class that are super fast. They practice lots. Thank you for being generous with you comment, you are very kind.
DeleteHi Room 9,
