2019 will be a new and exciting year for Room 10. This is a class of diverse cultures, mixed gender, and mixed ability students. As a class we have all decided We all want to be Better Than Before. Better in the way we work. Better in the work we produce. Better in the way we think, talk and act. Better than the day before. Together we can do this! With support from each other, encouragement and praise, this will be a successful year.

Fitness / Jump jam
We were dancing and singing and it was fun. Everyday we dance and sing in the morning. This is our jump jam so we can get fit. Everyday in the morning we do exercise so we can be fit. All of our classes come to fitness, then 3 students are selected to go to the front to show them what to do. Then the copy the leaders.
science
We made hokey pokey for a science experiment.
The hokey pokey smelled great. We learned that when we made it the hokey pokey went from a soild to a liquid to a solid again. The hokey pokey tasted delicious. The hokey pokey was crunchy and hard. The hokey pokey was sticky. The pictures show you the ingredients. The hokey pokey had white powder. At the end we cut the hokey pokey up and shared it. We put golden syrup in the hokey pokey. We used spray to stop it sticking; When it snapped it cracked and it looked like the colour of honey.

Up close 2 medals and one mission
This was an activity completed by Cobra, a reading group in room 7. The book was Look at me up close. The group had to complete two medals (two things they liked) and a mission (one thing that can be better) on the book they read.
My first medal is I like it because it gives us some clues. It's got different designs in it. My second medal is she wrote heaps of important information in the book but it wasn't to long to read. My mission is it should of been long to find out more information about look up at me, it should of had lots of facts about me.

We learning our spelling words so we can write juicy words. There are no bullies in room 7. We learn by doing our homework, we learn how to swim every day with our teacher.
We have fruit five days a week and we are learning about 5 plus a day. Everyday we learn hard maths. We also do narrative writing and we are getting better than before. We are all on task.
Something you might not know about us is that we drink milk four days a week. We are learning to work faster and finish our work.
